Pakistani Cool Yaar!

Well, this is the last eid here in Beijing most probably. Soon I'll complete my studies and I'll go back to my homeland so that I can enjoy these festivals more with my family and my loved ones.

After the Eid prayer we had an Eid-Milan Party and all the colleagues were invited to attend this party. It was a good together to pass the Eid Day with the colleagues. The venue was Chingari Restaurant. It was quite nice to have lunch there and enjoy lots of talking with friends. The quality of food was also too good, it has the same indo-pak cuisine taste.

On 13th of October we had our religious festival that is Eid-Ul-Fitar. I went to the Niu Jie which is the biggest and oldest mosque of Beijing. It has the history back to 900 years. It's a beautiful mosque and the centre point of Beijing muslim's religious activities. There were too many people and at the time of prayer it had started the drizzling. I was afraid that if rain would start then what would I do. But thanks God it didn't rain there just had few drops of rain. Well it was a nice experience to share Eid festival with Chinese Muslim Community. Probably this would be my last Eid-Ul-Fitar in Beijing then I'll go back to my homeland insha Allah.

Nex day we went to an another interesting place, Shi Du. It is around 60 to 70 km from Bai Li Xia. There has a recreational park including a mountain, a river, an island and some other activities. The ticket was a bit expensive, it was around 80 Yuan including the lift chair, bamboo fairy and other things. Firstly I went to top of mountain by lift chair to see the panoramic view of the whole park. It was really nice to have a look from there. Then I came back and enjoyed the bamboo fairy in the river. The river is quite shallow but I had to wear the life jacket which I put off later. But I really enjoyed that bamboo fairy all the time I had dipped my feets in the water. Then I went to leisure island and enjoyed the natural beauty there then after that we started our journey back to home but before reaching to home we stayed an another place. It was not a rushy area and the scenery was quite calm. I also liked to sit there alone thought so many things in my mind. Then after that we came back to Beijing at about 8'o clock. Though the whole trip was awesome but I couldn't enjoy that much.

After a long time I went out from Beijing. This tour was not organized by me. Well we went to see the suburb of Beijing, Yi San Po. Yi San Po is a small village outside from the Beijing. It was a sunny day there. When we reach there we found that living area is not suitable for families so we decided to see the other hotels but unfortunately the other were booked. So we took some other hotel which were not comfortable. Well after some rest and prayers I went to see the Bai Li Xia Gorge. It was nice pathways between the mountains with magnificient scenries and natural beauty. I really liked the place but I couldn't enjoy much, though I am a natural beauty lover. Well it was worth to see the gorge. While walking through the gorge I climbed a mountain too and it had 2800 steps. It was really a tiresome hiking but in the end I enjoyed this climbing. Well then after that I started to go back to hotels and in night the organizers decided to eat some roasted goat. So in dinner the roasted goat was served and it was very delicious & this day ended up here and I went back to my room.

 

Uncle Masood, Uzair's father visited us last month. I really used to go to meet him and we always had a long chat on different topics. He is really a very good person and posseses a very beautiful mind with very simple theories to live happily. I always enjoy his company. On his arrival me and Najam invited him and Uzi's family for a dinner at MaHua. It was great fun to have dinner with uncle coz Uncle doesn't like to have vegetables and noodles but with all these eatries restriction he enjoyed the food.
